Use the act of coloring as a "mindful minute" at the end of your day. Color each image with intention, focusing on the moment and your senses--choose colors that you like, think about the feel of the pencil/pen/marker in your hand and on the paper, focus on positive thoughts you associate with the image being colored.
It can be helpful to monitor your moods, your outlook, your successes, and your challenges as you recover in order to identify areas of strength and weakness. These patterns can help you identify areas to shore up in effort to prevent relapse and areas to celebrate and honor as you regain your health and wellness.
